We are now a Zero Waste event

This year we’re not just upping our game on the courts, but we’re also upping our sustainability efforts. In alignment with DPR’s goal of becoming a Zero Waste Company by 2030, our goal is to make this year’s Cornhole Classic a Zero Waste Event.

Initiatives include source-separation of all waste and food organics with the intent to achieve 95%+ diversion from landfills, use of reusable cups, compostable food packaging and utensils, and 3-stream waste stations throughout with volunteers to assist with sorting and education.

DPR Construction’s Sacramento office partnered with the Sacramento Republic FC to hold its annual charity fundraising event to benefit the Sacramento Youth Center. Thanks to generous contributions from subcontractors and industry partners, DPR was able to raise $80,000 for the local charity!
